Overview

My publications reflect over three decades of research in building performance analysis, thermal and energy performance, building performance simulation, and the evaluation of real buildings in operation. They include books, journal articles, peer-reviewed conference papers, special issues, and editorial contributions across major international venues.

• Building Performance Analysis (book, published with Wiley in 2018) 
• Computational Support for the Selection of Energy Saving Building Components (PhD-thesis, TU Delft, 2004)
•  Energy modelling (Chapter with Fried Augenbroe in A Handbook of Sustainable Design and Engineering by Mumovic and Santamouris, 2nd edition 2019)

Journal Articles and Conference Papers

I have authored or co-authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, spanning leading journals and major international conferences.

Special Issues and Editorial Work

I have significant editorial experience, including guest-editing special issues and serving on editorial boards.

I am presently Associate Editor of Advanced Engineering Informatics and serve on the editorial board of Applied Energy, the Journal of Building Performance Simulation, Energy and Buildings, and Building Simulation. In total, I have carried out over 900 reviews for various academic journals.
